This family has a special place in my heart.  We met at our hospital’s birthing class before we had our first.  It was fate when we were subsequently put into the same breastfeeding class.  They knew me in my previous life as an interior designer and were there to practice on as I transitioned to photography.  Their son was my son’s first friend.  We navigated the frightening start of parenting together.  It is wonderful to see their family expand to four and I feel privileged to document those early moments of their daughter’s life.

There is something that is freeing when I photograph a friend.  Being able to completely let me guard down and approach the session completely as a friend really is a wonderful feeling.  Photographing this little girl was an absolute pleasure.  It is one of my favorite newborn sessions to date.  She is absolutely stunning in pink.

A perfect example of experienced parents.  So at ease with baby number two.  This experience allows them to fully enjoy those precious early memories.

It is amazing to see the little boy that I have known since birth, blossom into a wonderful big brother.  It all seemed to come so naturally to him.  Their interactions together are the sweetest.

Mommy and daughter are just beautiful together.

This little girl will not be lacking in love and protection with these guys around.  Big brother is already taking care of his mommy and little sister so well.

Congratulations my dear friends…she is stunning.  We are so happy for you and can not wait to watch her journey as she grows. Thank you for trusting me with your precious memories.
