There are certain friends that I am happy to say I have known longer than I can remember.  Here is a shot of my brother and I (we are the brunettes with matching bowl cut hairdos.) with our oldest friends, John and Ashley, who were also siblings.  I love how imperfect this shot in and how it just captures the fudgesicle licking moment.  Even though it has been about 30 years since this shot was taken, I don’t think we really have changed that much.  Our families loved to travel together throughout our childhood plus we spent practically every day of our summer together and lived on the same street.  We have so many happy memories together and I love them very much.

I have included this picture above because I just visited Ashley in the hospital.  She is expecting twins and has been hospital bound until the babies are born…in over a month.  Of course I brought my camera to get a few pics of that belly before the girls are born.  The lighting wasn’t the best but we made it work…plus Daddy came “home” from work just in time to be included in the shots. These two are absolutely adorable together and I can’t wait to see them with their baby girls.  And I think Ashley looks absolutely stunning pregnant…with twins no less.  Congratulations you guys!  XOXOXOXO
