As a mother, it is an amazing feeling to see the age gap between your oldest and youngest shrink a bit.  I love that they are at an age where they love being with each other and she is old enough to interact in really fun ways.  Initially, my son put her on the “scooter” (for lack of a better word) and started shoving her around the room.  As a mom, I wanted to stop him because I was afraid she was going to get hurt.  Then I realized how much fun she was having and I let them go.  The first time around I would not have allowed my 1o month old son to be pushed by a 4 year child.  I most certainly would not let him be picked up while on the scooter.  Second time around, you get a more lax with the rules and let them push the envelope a bit.  I love that they have started to create adventures together and can’t wait to see what else they come up with in the future.  Play on my sweet children.  xoxoxo
