As I do some much needed purging of my hard drive, I keep finding some old pics that make me quite smile.  The images below are of my son Gavin and his cousin Miles.  They are only 6 months apart but live 5 hours from each other so the cameras are constantly clicking during every visit.

I love the top image for two reasons:

1) it seems like forever ago that they were this small

2) their belly laughs just make me smile

This image is far from technically perfect but the emotion is priceless…which is why I don’t like to go far without some sort of camera by my side.

The bottom image was recently taken near our house.  I love to watch them explore.  Each doing their own thing but still joined at the hip like when they were babies.  I hope they always stay close no matter how far apart they live.
