Just over two years ago, I took pictures of one of my oldest and dearest high school friend’s first child.  I still love the shot of their baby girl touching her father’s face…Dad is just beaming.

Two years later and that baby girl is now a big sister and I got to photograph them as a family of four.  She has already taking after her mother, who is a talented piano player and singer.  The connection between father and daughter is still as strong as those first days.

It is amazing to see that mother and son have just as strong of a connection as father and daughter.  I loved documenting those private moments of the beginning of their relationship.  My favorite shot is where he is giggling as mommy is smiling from above.

Of course the transition to two can be a little bumpy for the oldest…which is why having grandparents around to give that extra attention is so wonderful!
